Auction inflation: what to do when everyone has money

Auction inflation is what happens when the room has too much money and not enough players everyone trusts.

Do not panic when the first stars go for ridiculous prices. Track the remaining budgets, identify the next tier, and decide whether the discount is worth more than the name.

The room eventually has to buy somebody. Your job is to stay flexible long enough to be the person with money when everybody else is shopping with pocket lint.
