The 2-for-1 trade trap
The 2-for-1 trade is supposed to make your lineup better. Sometimes it just makes your bench sad.
Before accepting, check whether the incoming star is actually a weekly upgrade and whether the open roster spot has a realistic replacement. In deeper leagues, two playable starters can be worth more than one elite name. In shallow leagues, consolidation usually makes more sense.
Trade math is not about counting names. It is about counting points you can actually start.
