Good trades start with a problem, not a player crush.

Before sending an offer, identify what your roster actually needs: weekly floor, upside, running-back depth, a usable tight end, or a way out of an ugly matchup stretch. Then offer from a position where you have surplus.

Do not trade three useful players for one shiny name unless your lineup and bench can absorb the loss. Consolidation is great when it fixes a real weakness. It is terrible when it just makes the roster look more impressive in the group chat.
